Rhein

Install Rhein

Rhein 0.1.0 for Linux, in open beta.

Prebuilt binary

A tarball from GitHub Releases with the binary, desktop entry, icon and an install script. Needs glibc 2.35 or newer.

Download
tar xf rhein-v*-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
cd rhein-v*-linux-x86_64
./install.sh # or ./install.sh --system for everyone

From source

The install script checks for system packages, offers to install missing ones with pacman, apt, dnf or zypper, then builds and installs Rhein. Needs Rust 1.85 or later; the first build takes a while because it compiles libwebrtc.

git clone https://github.com/alpwrk/rhein.git
cd rhein
./install
